In this the students are provided with orthographic drawing and are required to convert it into a 3-D model using oasis block or waste Epi-Sheets and cardboards. To develop visualization of Isometric (3D) from Orthographic (2D) Students are provided with sketches of orthographic views with their isometric object. The models were made from EP sheets, Cardboard sheets, Oasis block and Thermacol. Similarly, to understand the concepts of ‘Section & Development of Solids’ workshop is conducted where; the concept of Sectioning is demonstrated on vegetables by slicing it in various conditions.
Group assignments are given to students where a group of 3-4 students have to prepare a model from cardboard using the concept of Development of solids. The problem given to the students are first to be drawn on sketch book, and the same has to be converted into a model.
