SOCIAL VISIT TO NEHRU BAL SADAN,WANDONGARI Students and faculty members of B.E.(First year) interacted with all the children of Nehru Bal Sadan, engaged them in various sports activities and distributed sweets to them.
STUDENT INDUCTION PROGRAM-DHRUV’18 The fresh batch of students of the Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering had undergone Induction Programme on August 6, 2018 at Shri Datta Meghe Auditorium in college campus. The Induction Programme was aimed at familiarizing the students enrolled for First Year with rules and regulations of the college, academics and activities. Shri Dattaji Meghe, Chairman, Nagar Yuwak Shikshan Sanstha, was chief guest for the programme whose motivating speech inspired the students. Dr. Sachin Untawale, CEO of Meghe Group of Institutions, highlighted several academic facilities provided by MGI. Cash prizes as well as laptops were distributed to last year’s toppers of First Year at the hands of Guests. The Principal Dr. Manali Kshirsagar welcomed the students to the college and mentored the students on their career path to become successful professionals. Dr. Prashant Debre, Dean Academic Matters, briefed the students about Teaching-Learning process adapted at RGCER. Dr. Sanjay Raghatate inspired the students with his motivational speech. During the program, Fresher’s Handbook giving all necessary information to students was unveiled by the guests. The program concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Pournima Pande, First Year Coordinator.

Student Forum Installation

First year student forum of Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering & Research was installed on 3rd September 2018.  Members of Student Forum were selected based on their scores in Performance Test.  It was was mainly focusing on Openness to new information and concepts,  depth of thought processes, Visual attention to detail, knowledge of common objects and perceptual and analytical skills.  The Performance test was followed by Personal Interviews and following members were selected for Student Forum.

Dr Jatin Wahane a Youth Icon, India’s Youngest Researcher in Physics, Padmashree 2019 Nominee, Ph.D Degree Holder from U.K, Member of BRICS, Member of India Russia Youth Forum, Member of India Russia Business Forum, Russian Scholar, Motivational Speaker, TEDx Speaker, Finalist of Reality Show Finding Kalam, ROB Olympics Winner, Published new theory which is against of Dr Albert Einstein’s General Relativity Theory on 11th November 2017” gave a Motivational Talk on “How to be Different from the Crowd to Make Your Own Identity” for the students of RGCER.

MY FRESH FACE – Season 2 @ 94.3 MY FM The 94.3 MY FM team visited RGCER for preliminary selection for MY FRESH FACE – Season 2 wherein they interacted with students through various rounds like Singing, Dancing & various activities. The selected students will be invited to participate in Grand Finale.

Department of Applied Mathematics and Humanities organized “Workshop on Improvement of RTMNU result of Applied Mathematics-I” from 14-11-2018 to 15-11-2018 for the B.E. First Sem. 2018-19 students.All the important questions as per university syllabus of M-I were revised in the workshop.

Math-League 2018-19 To increase the interest in Mathematics, Department of Applied Mathematics & Humanities took “Math-League” sessions for B.E. first sem. students. Every Tuesday morning 9-10 a.m., all the faculties of the department collectively organized competition cum practice programs on a topic preassigned to the students.
