Department of Electronics & Telecommunication organized two days workshop on “Logic Building with C” under Hands on Electronics on 2nd and 3rd Feb, 2019 for the students of second and third year.
In this event, there were 39 participants. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Mangesh Kherdekar, Head Software Developer, ArTech Innovations .
C language which is considered as the mother of all languages, it is first programming language for any beginner to jump start his career in software development.
Not only does it help a beginner to understand what software programming is all about, it also gives an excellent platform to build programming skills for those who eventually want to learn modern languages like C# or Java for developing advanced level applications.
Workshop was designed to deliver this combination of concepts and practical to make students an expert on the language and to put students in a position to tackle even the toughest of interview challenges..

Department of Electronics and Telecommunication carried out groundwork for broadcasting session of The Hon'ble Prime Minister of lndia named the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2.0’ on 29th January, 2019. Session included the ways to reduce exam related stress. The Hon'ble Prime Minister sentient students to reduce use of mobile technology , deliberate on time management techniques, exercise and eat well,listen to quiet, calming music and get enough sleep.
The smooth conduction was handled Prof. Anagha Wankhede and Prof. Shriya Gole .
Department of Electronics and Telecommunication has organized a seminar on Robotics on 31 Jan, 2019. Mr. Anshul Verma from Geeks LAB was the resource person for seminar. The event started with a welcome of guest by floral bouquet. The seminar was preceded by a short converse by the Dr. Manisha Khorgade, Head of Department, RGCER The seminar begin with introductory video clips on the subject of how robots is used in today's ever growing manufacturing industry.
These videos defined many characteristics of the three generations of robots beginning with the 1980's in the automotive assembly lines. It demonstrated different programmable robots that are used and articulates clearly their unique qualities
The lecture was declaimed in effective way. The lecture was received with admiration by the students of 2nd and 3rd year. The event ended with honorarium to the guests and vote of thanks.

Department of Electronic and Telecommunication has organized a Bot Wrestling competition on 5th Jan, 2019 under Xplore10.0. Bot Wrestling is basically a competition of two robots competing in an attempt to push the opponent out of the arena. These robots must be remotely operated. Robo Sumo compromises of 2 Qualifier round and 1 Knockout round. The Team which qualifies all the round within the given time span wins at the last.Total 07 participants from Kits Ramteek, Wainganga College of Engineering , Priyadarshani College of Engineering and RGCER participated in the event. Akshay Adhau and Nikhil Sandel from KITS Ramteek won the first position. The event was co-ordinated by Prof. Dhiraj Bhojane and Prof .Swati Mohod. Student co-ordinators were Mr .Tushar Thombre and Mr. Ujwal Dixit.
Department of Electronic and Telecommunication has organized a INQUIZITIVE(Quiz) competition on 4th Jan, 2019 under Xplore10.0. Event was distributed in four rounds. First was Aptitude test, which was qualifier round.Second was the picture round.Third was the brain booster round.These both rounds was performed using ppt and the final round was the buzzer round which was winner presumptive round. Total 35 participants from Kits Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Raisoni College of Engineering , Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, Dr. Babasaheb Aambedkar College of Engg. & Research and RGCER participated in the event. Ms. Ashwini Bonde and Mr. Sameer Lule from RGCER secured the first position and Mr. Vaibhav Gupta and Mr. Utkarsh Priyadarshi from Priyardarshani College Of Engineering secured second position. The event was co-ordinated by Prof. Shilpa Katre, Prof. Komal Tumsare, Prof. Shreya Gole. Student co-ordinator was Ms. Rachana Kadwe.
Department of Electronic and Telecommunication has organized a Warrior Within (GD/PI) competition on 4th Jan, 2019 under Xplore10.0. Event was segregated into three junctures. First was Aptitude test, which was qualifier round and next lap was group discussion and last phase was personal interview which was winner presumptive round. Total 16 participants from Priyadarshini College of Engineering and RGCER participated in the event. Deepak Mishra from Priyadarshini College of Engineering secured the first position. The event was co-ordinated by Prof. Anagha Wankhede. Student co-ordinators were Ms. Sanyukta Patmase and Ms. Mrunal Mhaiskar.
Department of Electronic and Telecommunication has organized a ROBO RACE competition on 5th Jan, 2019 under Xplore10.0. Event is segregated into three rounds.First round is upto 1st checkpoint and in 2nd round 2 checkpoint to be covered and insert ball in hole. In 3rd round the complete track has to be covered. In 1st 2 round 2 hand for penalty is free and in final round there in no hand are given for free. Total 06 groups from Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Wainganga College of Engineering & Management, St. Vincent Palloti College of Engineering and Technology and RGCER participated in the event. Pawan Kharate, Abhishek Bawankule, Rahul Thakur, Shantanu Chichmalkar, Madhu Sonsarve from St. Vincent Palloti College of Engineering and Technology secured the first position. The event was co-ordinated Mr. Prashant Wanjari and Ms. Komal Tumsare. Student co-ordinators were Mr.Nischalkumar Bhandarkar and Mr. Prasanna Vidhale.
Department of Electronic and Telecommunication has organized a CIRCUIT BREAKER competition on 4th Jan, 2019 under Xplore10.0. Event is segregated into three rounds.First round was aptitude test and in 2nd round the circuit was given to the participant and were supposed to make it in stipulated time limit. In 3rd round the time constraint was removed but only the clues were given and the participants were supposed to design the circuit. Total 13 participants from YCCE and RGCER participated in the event. Akshay Charde and Vaibhav Pohane from YCCE secured the first position. The event was co-ordinated by Prof. Priyanka Mandavgade and Prof. Poonam Chaudhari. Student co-ordinator were Mr.Aniket Kadu and Mr.Vaibhav Thakare.
Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering had organized an Industrial tour for students of III and IV year from 09/12/2018 to 17/12/2018. The tour was scheduled to visit three cities Delhi, Manali & Amritsar with four reputed manufacturing industries. The Schedule of tour was.

Bhoyar, Addl Vice President,O&M ,R power at Vidharbha Industries Power Ltd. was the Chief Guest for the program.The other Dignitaries present on the dais were Dr. Manali Kshirsagar ,Principal, RGCER and Dr. Narendra Narole , HOD ,ETC & Mrs. Shilpa Katre ,Forum Incharge who introduced the departmental activities and lauded the students with their precious thoughts. The event inaugrated by enlightening the lamp by the Guest of Honour Dr.D.P Bhoyar . He edified the students with emerging trends in Electronics and Telecommunication engineering and the significance of electronics as a core area in research and development . On this auspicious occasion the body of EESA(Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Student Association) was formed in which Rohit Verma ,final year student was elected as a President, Hitesh Zade as Vice President, Prateek Lende as Secretary ,Sameer Lule as Treasurer ,Uday Kirange as Joint Secretary ,Pranali Shinde as Joint Treasurer ,Jayant Tambe as Sponsorship Head , Pallavi Derkar as Sponsorship Co-head, Anagha Huddar and Abhishek Nagre as Publicity Head ,Shreyas Ghormare and Simran Khodwe as Media head.On this occasion the Department toppers of 1st year ,2nd year and 3rd year were felicitated by the Chief Guest .Program wad compeered by Ms Simran Khodwe and the vote of thanks was expressed by Ms Rachana Kadwe. The department of Electronics and Telecommunication, Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering organized Presentation Competition on 04th August 2018 for second year students under the guidance of Dr. N.G. Narole, HOD, ETC. The event was organized by Students of the department under the Forum Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Students Association (EESA) as first event of the year 2018-19 under EESA Forum. After knock out round Final 4 groups of second year competed for the prizes. The topic for power point presentation was ‘Recent Trends or Inventions in Electronics’ and students prepared the presentation based on their interest and knowledge within stipulated time allotted to them. The Event got an overwhelming response with the strength of 37 students divided into 10 Groups. The Event was judge by Prof. Suresh Gohane, Prof. Prashant Wanjari and Prof. Poonam Agarkar of ETC Department. Winners were felicitated and given prizes by the hands of Mr. D. P. Bhoyar, Additional VP, Reliance Power, the chief guest of Forum Installation Function and Dr. M. M. Kshirsagar, Principal, RGCER. The smooth conduction of event was handled by the In-charges Prof. S. S. Katre and Prof Poonam Agarkar. Owing to the encouragement bestowed by Dr. N.G.
