The Electronics Engineering Department focus is directed at providing highly educated technicians for the engineering, manufacturing, and service industries. We pride ourselves in the partnerships we have with many diverse local industries which ensures that the course content and emphasis is applicable to the ever-changing high tech career field. The goal of this department is to provide an education to our students that are directly applicable to problems and situations encountered in real life and thus foster a successful career.

To offer quality graduate program in electronics engineering to inculcate students with professional and ethical attitude, effective communication skills, scientific research and engineering breadth which would help them to pursue higher education and solve societal problems in global perspective.
Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
PEO-I Preparation: To prepare students to succeed in employment/profession and/or to pursue post graduate and research educations in Electronics Engineering discipline in particular and allied Engineering discipline in general. PEO-II Core Competence: To provide students with a solid foundation in mathematical, scientific and engineering fundamentals required to formulate, analyze and solve engineering problems requiring knowledge of Electronics Engineering. PEO-III Breadth: To prepare students with engineering breadth to innovate, design, and develop software products and to contribute in providing solutions related to multidisciplinary real life problems. PEO-IV Professionalism: To inculcate in students professional and ethical attitude, effective communication skills and team work to become a successful professional. PEO-V Learning Environment: To provide students with an academic environment that makes them aware of excellence and lifelong learning in emerging technologies. Program Outcomes (POs) After successfully completing the undergraduate programme, the students will have The ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering fundamentals. The ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems. The ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs with appropriate considerations such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety. The ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data. The ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering & computational tools necessary for engineering practice The broad education necessary to understand the impact of contextual knowledge on social, health, safety, legal and cultural issues. The ability to understand contemporary issues related to social & environmental context for sustainable development of engineering solutions. The understanding of professional & ethical responsibility The ability to function effectively as an individual, as a member or leader in diverse & multidisciplinary teams.
